Privacy Policy
Island Evolution is a free browser game. There is no account, no sign-up and no newsletter, and we do not ask you for your name, your email address or any other personal detail. This page explains the two things that do happen: your game data stays in your browser, and our advertising partner may set cookies.
What the game stores on your device
The game keeps a few small values in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot read them:
- Your best score, so the game can show it next time.
- Your mute setting, so the sound stays off if you turned it off.
- Your cookie choice from the banner, so we stop asking.
Clearing your browser data removes all of it. Nothing here identifies you, and none of it is sent to us or to anyone else.
Advertising
The ads on this site are served by Adsterra, a third-party advertising network. Ads are what keep the game free to play.
If you accept cookies, Adsterra and its partners may store cookies or similar identifiers on your device and may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you viewed, in order to select and measure ads. That processing is carried out by Adsterra under its own privacy policy, which you can read at adsterra.com/privacy-policy.
If you reject cookies, no advertising script is loaded at all. We do not load ads first and ask later, and we do not fall back to a "non-personalised" version that still tracks you. You can change your mind at any time using the button below.
Analytics
We do not currently run any analytics. If that changes, this page will be updated before the change goes live and the cookie banner will cover it.

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent whenever you like:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use your browser's private mode. The game still works if you do; only the saved best score and mute setting are lost.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you rights over personal data held about you, including access and deletion. We hold no personal data about you on any server, so in practice there is nothing for us to look up or delete. For data collected by Adsterra through its cookies, please contact Adsterra directly using the policy linked above.
Children
The game itself is suitable for all ages, but this site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
